My Love.. it's a really nice song by Justin Timberlake.. like somehow or rather, personally, this song has some kinda emotions attached to it.. like.. listening to this song somehow stirrs up this "feeling" inside me.. a feeling that i cant seem to describe.. prolly a feeling that one would feel while reminiscincing over the past... oh well.. and another reason y i never got sick of listening to this song is because of the 'smoothness' of the song.. hmm.. yea..

woke up 3 times this morning.. and surprisingly they were at 1-hr intervals.. first at 8am.. then i headed back to sleep.. and once again i awoke at 9am.. lol.. and lastly.. i really woke up at 10am.. lol.. thing is.. i had a nightmare last nite.. but usually my nightmares arent really scary.. but its more of a "chasing" scenario.. lol.. yea.. apparently all the nightmares i've experienced b4 were all chasing scenarios.. and i was always the one being chased after.. yea.. the funny part was.. i was incredably able to leap floor by floor down the flights of stairs to the ground floor as i raced to the door.. eventually i made it out safe and sound.. lol.. yea.. thats my nightmare.. crappy.. they say such nightmares imply that the person is under tremendous stress and stuff.. yea.. hmm.. or maybe i've juz eaten too much b4 i went to bed..

Bridge is so fun!!! haha.. that is if u really know how to play.. yea.. yesterday ken, peter, nic, mk, ho yin and i played bridge.. and it has been quite a while since i last played bridge.. and everytime i would bridge.. the game would appear rusty in my mind.. lol.. so that kinda explains y i played horribly good yesterday.. and its all because of beginner's luck.. i was really pushing my luck to its limits.. but strangely.. this beginner's luck kinda won me a no. of games.. lol.. surprise..

headed down to raffles city Plaza Market Cafe to have myself a sumptuous meal of buffet dinner.. together with neo, quek and kk.. yea.. the meal there is really costly.. and i felt bad having not to have paid for the meal.. oh well.. anw.. food glorious food.. i ate to my hearts' content.. yea.. oh ya.. and their signature dessert was this really thick durian-flavoured creamy pudding.. nt really sure how u name it.. but its a must try for all durian lovers.. yup.. there was an array of delectable desserts such as a really really thick chocolate mousse.. yea.. not forgetting the chocolate fondeu.. lol.. heavenly... then there was this huge salmon sitted in the centre of the array of food.. its skin peeled off exposing the bare meat.. oh my.. juz waiting for diners to sink the tongs into the delicate meat and tearing off a part of it.. yea.. but the salmon was cooked.. yea.. they have the raw ones tho.. cut slices.. argh.. forgot to take pictures of the so palatable food.... mmm.....

on wed nite.. family and i had steamboat dinner.. i wasnt expecting one though.. parents came home that day saying we were gonna have steamboat that day.. but anyway.. abalone was part of the ingredients.. mm...

Fri : went to catch a movie with friends
Sat: reunion dinner
Sun: went to visit relatives
Mon: went friends-visitation
Tue: went to visit more relatives and had another round of reunion dinner

well.. that sums up my CNY this year..



embarked on the SA visitations today.. as usual.. like we would always every year.. first it was to iven's, followed by mine hse.. then it was to yong hui's place.. where we had our lunch and we watched some really funny yet dumb pranks done by people.. lol.. played nba live 07 on xbox.. at least a different feel altogether.. after that it was to mo's place where we munched and watched "the hot chick".. yea.. oh ya.. browsed thru the SA yearbook and i happen to chance upon a lady by the name of mrs new.. and the surname "new" being an uncommon one led me to suggest that she could well be mr new's wife.. lol.. gonna ask him if i met him again in skool.. we ended off our visitations at chin pin's place.. where we were constantly being served food.. and after which, i rushed to a relative's place.. well thats about it..

went to my other relatives' place and the flat was a stone's throw away from tpjc.. lol.. yea.. proceeded to the other relatives' side in the evening for dinner..



i've skipped friday's cell and sat's youth ablaze consecutively and the thing is.. I'VE NEVER DONE THAT B4! or at least not that i rmb me doing so.. anw.. gotta wake up real early for ushering tml morning.. woa.. at least i've not missed church the whole weekend.. man.. i feel this sense of guilt..

went to peter's house today.. lol.. second time going to his place but first time taking a different route and going there by myself.. had only 7 hours of sleep.. din noe 12 could take u to lavender, bugis, clarke quay and kallang.. anw.. camped at his house from 10 to abt 7 plus.. and i overshorted the bus-stop by a few bus-stops.. lol.. so i kinda ended up at katong shopping centre (didnt knew such a place existed.. lol..) and so i had to waste another trip.. how kuku of me.. grr... and when i finally saw the ETONHOUSE building i felt dumber.. lol.. i practically had all my 3 meals at peter's place.. lol.. of which i didnt expect to have any at all.. yea.. after breakfast.. we proceeded with our "mission".. yea.. i wont reveal it juz yet.. otherwise it would spoil the whole surprise.. wonder wad his reaction and expression would be.. both his and hers.. HAHA! oh well.. ingenious idea of ours.. haha.. it took me and peter almost the whole day to do this "gift".. so i seriously hope they wont juz chuck it aside.. lol.. and its really fragile.. haha..

actually.. it didnt take the whole day.. cos of several "commercials" along the way:

only managed to see one cat today.. the kittens were all gone.. sad.. but he said dey had alr matured a bit.. so.. guess not that cute anymore la..

only today did i realise the rich secondary school memories he had.. he had so much fun with his sec skool friends.. as in.. really those very very very happy moments he spent with his clique.. yea.. and his clique really had a fun bunch of people.. or rather the guys.. lol.. doing silly stuff tgt.. to me.. this is wad life is all about.. juz letting go and having pure fun.. who cares wad ppl tink.. anw.. compare a sec 1 photo and a sec 4 photo and u'll realise that the person has really matured.. u can tell.. and den i got emo-ish again.. crap..

following that, we watched this really sadistic show depicting the freakiness of cannibalism.. basically the storyline goes sth like this: some ppl lost in the forest get hunted down one by one.. and the way the cannibals go around laying the plot and eventually chopping the body up is really... urgh.. blood and gore.. and of cos the thrill and suspense..

oh ya.. and there was this cup of jellybeans in his room.. the container has this like chart that shows the different jellybeans in the container.. haha.. quite cool ar.. and its from candy empire.. those jellybeans were actually quite good.. and thus we had jellybeans instead of popcorns for the movie.. lol..

tried out o2jam today.. oh my gosh.. its harder than it seems.. thank goodness im not intending on starting an account.. but it was quite fun.. lol.. started pressing the keyboard buttons frantically once the speed increased a lil'.. lol..

and the last part, i had to eat dinner with peter and his family members.. woa.. their spread is quite good.. not the usual kind of spread i would usually get for my dinner.. but its ok.. and it was kinda queasy initially.. yea..

now that was today..

yesterday..

took a cab with hq, mk and nic to ECP early that morning.. hated myself so much for not having given my best.. and its because dere was sth behind it.. oh well.. only i'd be able to overcome it.. but the thing is.. i wonder how long i'd take.. anw.. went to play pool at some building near parkway that day.. 5.90 per hour.. quite cheap leh.. haha.. but so far from my hse.. oh well.. in terms of pool.. it was kinda my day.. everyday seemed to get pocketed.. but on other days.. i'd be losing terribly badly.. lol.. my worst lost ever.. 11-0.. lol.. after that the 4 of us went home while the rest went to kbox.. went home to freshen up and its out for me again.. this time to steamboat dinner.. in the end.. i was the only guy who wore sth other than berms and slippers.. wah.. if only i'd known.. but oh well.. the food and company were good.. yea..

screwed up chem A level spa skill A.. and its only being tested once.. so much for me studying so hard and devoting so much time for skill A.. wad went wrong? was it becos i didnt have a watch with me? time seriously rocketed pass that 1 hr! when the teacher said 10 mins left.. i couldnt believe my ears.. DAMN SHIT LA!! no mood alr..

sometimes when life seems to be full of downs, life still carries on, be optimistic

hmm.. its been quite a while since i last blogged.. anw.. cant believe we're alr into Feb!! oh my.. before u know.. its dec and we're stepping into 2008.. okok.. lol..

truly exhausted from spe that day.. we ran like 6 rounds + some physical cond.. lol.. but we had tennis after that.. come to tink of it.. tennis is rather fun after all.. haha..

Tuesday
had extra chem lesson cos we were going to miss out on 3 periods of chem thus the chem teacher wanted us to reimburse her the lost periods.. lol.. the same went for wed...

Wed
during GP lesson.. we were discussing on the topic of God vs Science.. hmm.. found it rather interesting.. and the funny thing is.. the "debate" happening inside the magazine between two people was kinda humourous.. cos u can really feel the two people talking in that really aggressive tone.. haha..

had urban orienteering for odac that afternoon.. turn-out wasnt so good.. oh well.. anw.. at least the j2s managed to chill and talk.. or at least those who were talking charge of the same station as me.. yea.. gotta find time to have similar conversations next time..

Thursday
felt really bad and humiliated during econs tutorial that day.. simply cos i havent helped in my group's work and the teacher kinda found out la.. another thing is.. im really lagging behind for econs.. yea..

got the college yearbook that day too.. and ms chua rewarded our class with snacks cos we made a good attempt in ensuring that there were no late-comers for our class for 3 consec. days.. yea..

had a chem faculty test that day.. basically testing about skill A and the fundamentals of org. chem la.. yea.. turned out to be rather simple.. for once in a long time i might actually pass sth.. lol.. yea.. thats how horrible i m now.. sigh..

highlight of the day: i made ice cream outta normal ingredients plus liquid NO2... cool.. NO2's like -200 degree celcius.. yea.. and once you've added all the necessary ingredients you pour the liquid nitro in.. and start stirring.. and stirring.. until my fingers became soar.. lol.. the ingredients that were initially liquid became like ordinary ice cream.. yea.. and i din noe we could actually take in liquid NO2.. initially i tot we were juz making the ice cream for fun.. but it turned out that we could actually eat the ice cream.. how cool is that?.. and apparently.. i found out that the teacher conducting this experiment was actually a physics teacher.. lol..

Today
GP lesson in the morning was simply so boring.. felt like sleeping la.. then it was chem.. had another short quiz on skill A again.. actually im kinda thankful for this chem teacher cos tho she may appear to be mean and nasty.. she's actually doing her best to help us.. yea.. and she's not exactly that nasty after all..

had Beep Test today for pe.. woo!! was the first time i ran for Beep Test.. yea.. quite fun and challenging too.. made it to stage 10 lap 3.. and i couldnt take it anymore.. after running both my butts started aching like siao la.. its like all the lactic acid build-up is there.. lol.. started stretching my ass but before long.. it started aching again.. and u can actually check your VO2 MAX using the Beep Test.. quite cool ar.. but i din bother checking la.. lol..

yea.. so basically that sums up my week la.. my last week in jan.. still cant believe its feb alr!!!
