some things in life only occur once... and if u dun cherish every moment of ur life... well... you'll live to regret it..

going to cambodia for ocip '06 was simply too precious an experience for it to be used as a lesson learnt...

went for the standard chartered marathon today!! had only 3hr 40 mins of sleep.. cos i came home from the LOS at ard 1am.. lol.. anw.. woke up at 5.40am to freshen myself up.. wore the addidas marathon singlet.. i rarely wear singlets out.. yea.. really appreciate mk's mom giving me and nic a ride to somewhere near the esplanade at such early hours.. without her help.. i guess we'd be super late la.. yea.. headed down to mac to grab a sausage macmuffin.. really enjoyed the tranquil of the morning.. when the streets r juz so dead-quiet.. and u can count the ppl on the streets using ur 10 fingers.. lol.. haha.. the morning breeze was simply refreshing.. love the wind.. arrived at the place, deposited our bags and headed to the starting line.. thing is.. we got to the starting line like 15 mins later after the starting horn had been sounded.. lol.. haha.. wad a way to start a 10km marathon.. so my timing by right should be 52 mins.. haha.. if mk was right about the 4 of us being 15 mins late la.. talking about timing.. i dun tink my timing was recorded since i attached the championchip to my wrist instead of the shoelace.. darn!.. wad a pity.. haiz.. the run was sheer torture.. lol.. y did i even subject myself to such excruciation.. haha.. lol.. finishing the race gave me a small sense of accomplishment.. got a finisher's medal and free 100plus.. haha.. should've taken the free banana.. lol.. free mah! haha.. finished earliest among the 4 of us.. but the differences wasnt too far apart either.. so congratz to the 4 of us.. u noe wad the motivation for making me run consistently? guess.. haha.. no offense but my motivation to run throughout the marathon were the plump or old runners in front of me.. LOL! the last marker i saw was the 6km mark.. din see the 7,8,9,10km mark.. yea.. the area around the drinks station along the course of the marathon were littered with paper cups.. its like ppl juz throw as though there was no penalty or sth.. so i threw mine on the floor oso.. quite shiok to litter.. haha! aiya.. should've littered more.. wasted.. lol.. sustained a right knee injury after the race.. but its quite minor.. yea.. prayed for healing alr.. so i muz have faith! yup yup..

headed to cafe cartel for breakfast.. woa.. felt like some rich kid or sth.. sometimes its good to indulge in the finer side.. haha.. feels darn good to be rich.. tho im not.. lol.. but being not rich isnt bad anyway.. yep.. learnt from ocip.. life can be simple yet happy.. took the complimentary newspaper.. and our breakfast too such a long time to arrive.. the diners next to us were oso equally angry.. lol.. the food was good.. maybe cos i was famished.. dunno.. after breakfast we headed home alr..

went home and left the hse again to meet up with the loggers for the sl which commences tml.. had to discuss the logistics stuff with them and oso to purchase the stuff.. went to TM to meet them.. after which i went home.. yup..
