ok... im heading to cambodia in like 2 days' time!!! lol... really hope it'll be a very fun and safe trip... yea... bringing mua cam along to take many many pics... well... i believe in photos... haha.. still have yet to pack... not cos im bz... but cos im lazy... lol...

gonna celebrate my mom's bday tml... prob a dinner i guess...

the sec 1 bonding ended today... tho it was a short one... it was really meaningful and successful... we went to pasir ris park... played dog-and-bone to start off as ice breaker... followed by the sponge-and-apple game... den it was the parachute game.. and lastly captain's ball... after which... lunch came... played bball with the guys at the unofficial bball court in PRP... initially it was only a handful of guys but soon enuff... the whole court was flooded with the other sec 1s... lol... we had the whole court to ourselves... and every time i shot the ball... sand would somehow find it way into my mouth... grr... cos the floor was blanketed with sand.. lol... no friction... fortunately no one was injured... we got on the coach b4 it started to pour... divine timing by God... and well... my prayer was answered cos i prayed for the rain not to get in our way... yea.. while the rest were having dinner... i went home to change my mem. card cos it was alr full! lol. half a day and its alr full... grabbed a pile of newspaper and headed back to church... reached church and started cooking using the mess tin and solid fuel... reminds me of the days... had a filling dinner cos i had one whole mess tin to myself.. lol... and i felt so humiliated when i remembered helping one of the boys to transfer the food from the mess tin to the strofoam bowl... i spilled a whole lot of soup on the table cloth... so clumsy of me.. and the sec 1s happened to see it... dratz... lol... dinner ended earlier than expected and so it was to area cleaning... we delegated the washing and cleaning up to the sec 1s... kinda reminds me of my earlier days... after dinner we played nite games... had only 2 stations... one was to find small objects carefully placed in the level 2 guys washroom... in total darkness... surprisingly they managed to get most of the stuff... the other was some egg game played in dining hall... den it was to the Finale!! HAHA... the best and last part of nite games... it was really hilarious... the person who forfeited was given the "powder" treatment... haha... played 2 games... the zhong ji mi mah and taboo game.. lol... both were equally exciting... after which we had supper and the guys went to play soccer... as usual... yea... had hokkien mee for supper... heard it was compliments from one of the sec1 parents... i kinda reserved one packet for myself even tho i alr had one packet cos the leftovers would eventually end up in the dustbin... after ensuring the whole church was locked up... we went to lvl 3... while i was walking to the pantry some sec 1 alerted me that the guys wanted the hokkien mee... since there was only one packet left... i had to give it to them... the funny thing was... when i opened the door to room 303 where the boys bunked... i was like talking to no one but darkness la... it was so dark.. lol... most of the boys chionged outta the room and i told them to eat in the pantry... so commical la... haha... went to toilet and when i came out of the toilet... i was both amazed and happy simultaneously... i saw both the boys and girls cramped in the room... with one packet in the centre of the table... this showed that dey were so so bonded la... was really pleased with that... din expect to have seen that... wasted should've taken a photo... argh... so to top it off... i opened the pantry door and i told the whole lot of them that everyone had to eat at least one strand of noodle... lol... the pantry was filled with laughter as i left for my bunk room... that was e end of the day...

woke up at 9am the next day... and the 1st thing that came to mind was... time really flies... it's like the sec 1 bonding has almost come to an end and it seemed like juz ytd i was discussing with andy the logistics stuff.. haiz... everything has to come to an end... good or bad... i hate endings... had a lil' debrief with the kids and that marked the end of the camp-bonding... well.. one word to describe the camp.. fun...

the camp objectives were met and everyone was happy... yep... really thank God for the success of the bonding-camp... cos little did we expect the boys and girls to mingle with each other... was a really really really fun camp... from the registration to the end of the camp... though extremely exhausted but still... it was all worth it... yea.. took several pics... somehow or rather... i felt that this camp was rather different from the many other camps i have attended... but in a positive way... maybe cos the leaders were the ones leading the whole camp themselves... or maybe the attachment to the kids? so the feeling of success was much stronger.. yea... all in all... credit still goes to Him who made everything successful... :D

this is the blog for 10 nov..

woke up kinda early to meet up with hui qi, mk, iris and nic.. the puppet show cast.. haha.. but actually we were doing a skit la.. lol.. we met at hui qi's hse.. and if i had not known hui qi.. i wouldnt have known that a shopping mall called Hougang Green shopping mall actually existed.. lol.. went to her place to collect the props for the skit that we had to perform for the ocip meeting which was a few hours away..

had ocip meeting at the dance studio.. wouldnt have had the chance to step into the room had it not been for ocip.. lol.. we did our final preparations and handbooks were distributed tgt with the ocip t-shirt.. final briefing was given b4 we called our meeting a day.. could feel the excitement alr.. the skit wasnt too good as we din have some of the props and so it din really work out well.. but rest assured it would be on the actual day when everything's in place.. yup..

headed to mk's hse to deposit the props.. after which i went home and got ready for the sec 1 camp..

went for dinner with sean and then headed to church to get the logistics for the sec 1 camp prepared.. stayed up till like 3am+ to settle everything.. and fancy going to a 24hr supermarket at 2am in the morning to buy apples..haha! the next morning we panicked only to realise that we left the apples at the supermarket.. thank goodness it's still dere.. tho we were tired but we had a fun time discussing.. lol..
